Proton Cars to be Manufactured in Egypt at Ezz Elsewedy Factories

Malaysian automotive company Proton has announced its plans to commence car manufacturing in Egypt in collaboration with Ezz Elsewedy factories. The milestone was revealed during the signing of three framework agreements for car manufacturing in Egypt. The agreements were facilitated by government entities, including the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, the Environmentally Friendly Automotive Industry Finance Fund, and the Automotive Industry Unit.

Local expertise in car assembly will be provided by Ezz Elsewedy Automotive Factories , Itamco, and Ghabbour Misr.
