Cairo Misr Company (CIRA) is an Egyptian Joint Stock Company, founded in 1993, that stands as the largest integrated provider of educational services in the Egyptian private sector. The company was founded by ElSewedy Capital Holding (40% stake) and Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development - CIRA (60% stake). Within the upcoming 3 years, Cairo Misr Company will establish 3 Schools (1 under BCCIS, 1 under SIS and 1 under Regent brand) and is planning on establishing 2 more schools (1 under BCCIS and 1 under Regent brand), as well as a private university in Damietta.
The private university in Damietta, set to commence operations in September 2024, is designed to accommodate 30,000 students. It will offer various programs, including an International Branch Campus, a National University, and a Technological University. The university's target demographic is the middle-income group, and it will comprise 15 faculties. The average tuition fees range from EGP40k to EGP200k, and the university will be accredited by an International Affiliate, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), and the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU).
In addition to their educational endeavors, Cairo Misr Company plans to establish a general hospital with 150 beds to serve the medical faculties of ASIU, further exemplifying their commitment to comprehensive educational and healthcare services.
